ÜBER DIE BETA VERSION

English: The beta version of "Nikki and the Robots" is now available as a free download! Beta means that the game is not done. Much content will be added, features will be refined, and some bugs might occur. However, we have built in a fancy updater: Each time that you start up "Nikki and the Robots", an update menu option will notify you of new versions.
During the next weeks, among other things we will work on:

improved performance
improved interface design
new types of robots
sound effects
game controller support

Deutsch: Die Beta-Version von "Nikki and the Robots" steht jetzt für Euch zum freien Download bereit! Beta bedeutet, dass das Spiel noch nicht fertig ist. Einiges an Inhalt wird noch geschaffen, Funktionen werden überarbeitet und es können auch einige Bugs auftreten. Allerdings haben wir einen schicken Updater eingebaut: Jedes mal, wenn Ihr "Nikki and the Robots" startet, wird ein Menüeintrag euch über neue Versionen informieren.
In den kommenden Wochen werden wir unter anderem an folgendem arbeiten:

Don't hestitate to report any bugs that you experience to the bugtracker! The bugtracker is rather easy to use, and you can find the help for Launchpad here.

English: You need a working OpenGL graphics card driver. If your hardware is not much older than four years, "Nikki and the Robots" should run smoothly. Give it a try!

Deutsch: Ihr benötigt einen Computer mit einem Grafiktreiber, der OpenGL unterstützt. Wenn Eure Hardware nicht viel älter ist als vier Jahre, sollte "Nikki and the Robots" flüssig laufen. Probiert es einfach mal aus!
